Does this apply to your previous posts, which cited anonymous "sources" who purported to have some knowledge of the contents of the messages, including the "fact" that there are no classified documents on Weiner's laptop (where have we heard that one before?)? The FBI has access to the laptop through its investigation of Weiner's alleged sexting with a 15 year old North Carolina girl, but needs a second warrant the examine the contents of Abedin's email messages.

 

If Abedin did not admit to using Weiner's laptop for tens of thousands of official email messages in her immunity agreement, that is huge and the FBI did not need a second warrant to determine that was a fact. Comey's announcement means that the FBI has already verified the existence of government email messages on the laptop. One must assume that there is a possibility that there are classified documents on the laptop until it is proven not to be a fact. Newsweek stories citing anonymous sources are no more reliable than National Enquirer anonymous sources suggesting that Rafael Cruz was a good buddy of Lee Harvey Oswald who may have been involved in JFK's assassination.

According to this Wall Street Journal report, Anthony Weiner's laptop contains 650,000 email messages. If that number is correct, I predict some serious legal problems ahead for both Mr. and Mrs. Weiner. If the number includes copies of email messages from Abedin's government account and/or Hillary's personal, unsecured repository of classified documents, then she is a complete idiot. Such a large number of messages implies to me that she may have been auto-forwarding messages from other accounts to Wiener's laptop.

 

Why would somebody simultaneously collecting paychecks from two high paying jobs not have simply bought a couple of removable hard drives to archive copies of her email messages? Why would somebody whose husband has a hobby that includes sending nude photos of himself to young women and teens believe that her husband's laptop was a good hiding place?

 

This Clinton mob is not only populated with criminals, it appears that they are not particularly bright criminals. - overly frugal too.

That said, I don't ever recall sending/receiving more than 10K emails in a given year. The concept of "33K missing emails" and "laptop contains 650K email messages" is beyond me. If that were one year, that's 1,700+ emails per day. Staggering volume of email, especially if there was any substance to them.

Probably very similar to the loss of Republican love for Comey following his decision not to charge HRC. That love they felt for Comey when he decided to investigate faded fast.

 

The laptop contains 650,000 emails from who knows how many years. The lack of information forces many to speculate and once that starts often people make their decision on guilt, and just stop following the story.

Yes. That is a staggering number. Including my spam, the number of emails that I have sent and received in my lifetime does not approach that number. Also, I don't see why anyone would have email messages older than the life of the laptop on the machine. So, I doubt that number is for more than 5 years.

 

The Weiners consumed enough taxpayer dollars to afford to have up to date electronics gadgets, and Anthony would have demanded up to date equipment, given his hobby. I would have archived most of my email messages on a combination of flash drives and CDs or DVDs.

 

If Huma was keeping a copy of Clinton email messages as an insurance policy, the FBI may force her to make an early claim.

That's a lot of emails no doubt. Considering Weiner's a perv it's also very plausible most are his since we are speculating.
