Why was the personal foul at the half not resulting in an untimed down? I was under the impression that the half or game does not end on a defensive penalty.

It ended up being off setting penalties in that one. Conner bench got a flag on that also. Officials didn't cost anyone the game but they were just bad.

Remember James Hayes early 1990s at Covington Holmes? I understand Jackson is his son. James was more a speed runner than a power guy but could definitely play.
