October 17, 20169 yr Author Alabama/Auburn is pretty hated, Yankees/Red Sox, Duke/North Carolina. OSU/Michigan is definitely a good one though. The iron bowl is probably second. The Yankees/ Sox isn't what it was 10 years ago and Duke/ NC is good but I don't think it compares to Ohio State/ Michigan or Alabama/ Auburn.

I think it comes down to who's a fan of who in that. I think Carolina/Duke is the best in sports but in reality they all are #1 worthy

I personally don't see how it can better than Ohio State/ Michigan, but they're all up there. I would venture to say you are probably more of a basketball fan if I had to guess. I think in general I would lean towards football rivalries being more heated in general because of the nature of the game. But if you are a basketball guy I could totally see why you would put Duke/ NC at #1.

I'm pretty 50/50 football/basketball.... bigger baseball fan than either, however, Michigan hasn't had a pulse until this year which I think hurt that rivalry a bit

But its bigger now than probably ever. Plus Ohio State fans will never let Michigan forget this decade and a half of dominance and Michigan fans will never let us forget how many times they beat us in the 90's when we were destined for a National Championship.

October 17, 20169 yr Author WV over Baylor, both over my Huskers. That surprises me a little. Your Huskers haven't beaten anybody any good yet, but neither have these two. The Big XII is bad and I mean REALLY bad. I would definitely put Nebraska over both of the undefeated Big XII schools. At least there is a semblance of defense out in Lincoln.

However, immaterial given that Nebraska is going to lose 1 to 3 games between now and Christmas, so it will play itself out. They are a whole lot better than last year, but they have no real place in this conversation (in my opinion).
