Dalton continues to find his 2nd, 3rd and even 4th options...

He's always been capable when given the time...

Nice drive to start the 2nd half now the D needs to back to being aggressive and gong after Brady. I didn't like the rhythm he got in on the last drive in the first half.

AD has never looked better. This is the best I have seen him. I just probably jinxed him.

Agreed! He has been on point! The only mistake he made was that audible, but he has made up for it. He has looked great.

It's not progressions. It's his previous read snaps, as you notice he is looking where he is throwing it right away. He does a great job knowing who should be open based off of his pre read snaps, and those guys are doing great getting open for him today.

Wrong, he's had to scramble etc...

He hasn't just gone to first read today..nor has he done it for his career..

Countless nights on local sports shows or even NFL network... they break the plays down . And I've seen many times where they've used Dalton as an example finding 2nd, 3rd and 4th options...

In fact, no QB that has lasted as a starter in the NFL for more than 3 seasons has trouble finding their option reads... if u can't do it, u don't last. Period.

In other words.. he's a Pro QB... not a high school or college or rookie "1 look" guy.

Where was this effort last week against the Boys????

Scrambling and finding someone get open while running around is not going throw your progressions. It is the scrammble drill all teams practice when a qb leaves the pocket. Dalton has always done a great job spreading the ball around, but it's not because of him going threw his progressions. It's because of him knowing where to go with the ball before the ball is snapped. Which is why he has always been in the top 3 in release time. It's not him looking at one and then getting down to his second or third options. Usually it's his first read and if that is not there he will try to dump it off. His previous read snaps has always been his strength.

Sometimes take getting your butt whopped to wake up.
