Ever sat between these two at a game. Cant eat the popcorn fast enough lol. Too bad I will be traveling to Edmonson Co friday night gonna miss a good one.

Have seen both teams once, each against Campbell Co., so my observations are limited. I do not know if SK runs the 3-5-3 routinely, but CC continued to try to attack it from the spread leaving their ground game challenged. Think Ryle's Chisolm(?) might have big yardage running behind Raider's line with tight ends. Also, see Morgan's play action passing much more effective than CC's which had very little deception from the spread.

 

SK's best arm appeared to me to be Shearer's. Kid has a cannon. The Pioneer's offense is very deceptive when both Racke and Shearer are both in the backfield taking direct snaps. Thought OC Lucas read CC's defensive alignments and vulnerabilies perfectly and the Pioneer players were precise in their execution.

 

IMO, these teams are very comparable. This game has the potential to see both teams put up 40+. If so, could have have one of those crazy high scoring OT games for the record books.

All the stats, home field advantage, etc. Anyway you boil it down this will be a true Friday night game under the lights. Can't find this kind of game in the pros or collegiate level. You gotta love HS football.
