When the DOJ had no choice but to exonerate Wilson, did President Obama get on media and apologize for jumping to conclusions? Nope. Did he say Wilson was guilty from the jump? I don't recall those exact words. I recall him being sympathetic to the Brown family and I recall him speaking from the heart as a black man in America when the events of that day played out but I don't recall him saying Darren Wilson was guilty. I thought he was way more direct with his words in the Trayvon Martin murder than with Mike Brown.

With the position he is in it is impossible for him to not speak on certain issues. I'll never feel like he is being divisive. He's being a black man and regardless of his title he will always be a black man.

No one is a role model when they say they are just now proud of America because her husband was elected. No one is a role model when they take very expensive vacations on the taxpayer dime. I have never seen a politician or politician wife as a role model.

October 15, 20169 yr In my opinion, several First Ladies have been extremely positive role models. Sharing a last name with a POTUS one doesn't like/hates shouldn't be an automatic disqualifier.
