He's 6'9" now and has gained 25 pounds since last year. Looking forward to seeing what he does this year.

Should be a good team with Murray, Hawkins, Kitchens, Cottrell and Kelch.

Is the same coach still at SK?

Anybody seen the new transfer for Williamstown? Huge kid. Haven't seen him play yet though. Wondering if anybody was at their inter squad scrimmage night?

This is accurate. He, like every HS player, has plenty upon which to improve, but should be a factor on the glass in the 32nd.

And how does such an athlete just arrive in the school district?

If I had to guess, probably the school's private jet...

He's there. The demons deserve an occasional transfer just like everyone else.

Hawkins, Cottrell and 6'8 Kelch are all really good from SK.

They are all very talented but it seems like because they are all on one team their stat lines aren't as impressive as some of these guys who are the only scorer on their teams. That would be the reasoning in my opinion of hawkins not being top 5 and the rest of the squad not being ranked. I also think hawkins is a great player/sharpshooter but seems like he doesn't create his own shots. Im not saying he isn't able to but the team scheme doesn't ask him too.

Any 31st fans care to comment on how that will shake out?

Which team is favored to win the district?

Outside of Mason Wilson, which players will make an impact?

How will Owen and to an extent, Carroll, make up for lost production?

When will Owen be moved to the 32nd so we can send SK back up the road?

This seems a pretty fair assessment. Hawkins is one of the top 5 players in the region IMO but because of the way Steiner uses him he is not as recognized as other players. By the end of the season JC and the SK team will both be in the top 5 of the regional rankings.

That was my first thought. If a kid is that great of a player, how did he end up at Williamstown. Heard he is the talk of the 8th.

Tommy2Tone,

How good is the new kid from Lima Ohio, that Shelby has? I heard he is a player

Sources tell me his adoptive parents are from Grant County. His older sister was hired at the Ark Encounter. His adoptive aunt teaches at Williamstown. His adoptive parents are currently in Haiti doing mission work so he moved down from Indiana to be close to family while they are away.

Wow, sounds like a great family.
