Ryle 32 NewCath 20

Scottie Gray was the answer. 4 TD's and defensive INT's. On an cool evening like this I would suggest not throwing to this kid's side of the field because he will make you pay for any bad pass thrown his way, and once he has the ball in his hands he becomes a running back again. I wont butcher his name on here but #8 is a very good compliment to #3 at saftey on that side of the ball. Vince Murrary showed on his 79 yard TD run how dangerous he is, and that's after playing the whole night at MLB too.... Can't wait to see what the Raiders will look like when they can open the offense up more with there QB because they have two receivers in #12 and #25 who I think can make big plays if given the chance.

Gray and Murray make Ryle the most dangerous team in NKY 4A. They've been my team from the beginning, which is hard to say being a Boone Co alum, but this Ryle team really impresses me. When the QB returns, and I believe they're missing a couple of starters on D as well, they are going to be very good.

I noticed in the Enquirer Vince Murray was quoted, "My fullback made a great block ... and I was gone," Murray said.

I noted several hard blocks by #13, playing fullback as Murray was making this run plus a block by the same #13 as Gray made a TD. I noticed he only got in a little especially toward the end of the game. Who is he and where has he been??

Also Ryles Defense looked pretty good less a few lapses.

Wow! NewCath got a double shot, Ryle Varsity win 32-20 and Ryles JV also won 18-8.

From what I saw last week NCC really misses Canafax. They had a lot of trouble catching the ball.

Beg to differ with your view. The Pangallo and Wrobleski boys are much better athletes than Canafax. They must be thrown the ball quickly and let them use their athletic ability after the catch. Yea, I agree they are young but they need to be given a chance. If a ball gets dropped they get pulled and then replaced for a few series. NCC better learn to get the ball to them more often. Vickers can't do it all, at this rate he will never finish the season. Its target practice on him. Somebody needs to tell QB Harris NCC's colors are white or Blue -- throw the ball to those colors.

Wow I am surprised. NCC must have really taken a hit to graduation.

Ncc had a very good team last year, they will be very tough on the A level this year as well. Look at who they have played so far. It sure has been much tougher than Dixie or LLoyd. They get the QB looking in the right direction they will be playing for the ring again

Wow!

That is a pretty big statement.

From past experience . . . . . we always spent a lot of time preparing for Canafax. I find it hard to believe that you could say that these others are better athletes.

Canafax could really make things happen.

Who is number 47 for NCC. Is that Buzz Wrobleski's boy. That kid can fly was his dad that fast. Does the QB at NCC know he is one of his recievers. Might want to look his way more often. He has to be hard watch. He's got some series wheels WOW!

Now you will have to prepare twice as much, no doubt in the minds of many very very very athletic. No question just keep your eyes on them both

I have a feeling that we have a pretty good idea of who we need to prepare for . . . .thanks for the advice!

To me--NCC has some great players--but it is the "sum of the whole" that needs to be stopped. As soon as you concentrate of 1 or 2 or even 3 people--then someone else bites you.

But I can't say that I agree with you that either of those 2 are more athletic than Canafax. He was a very good football player. He could run, catch, jump . . . . . . you name it. I am sure that the other 2 are good players--but they still have a little more work to do before they are mentioned in the same breath.

I agree from what I saw out of NCC this year, none of those boys are close to being as good as Canafax. In my book, he is a lot better than any receiver they have this year.

Be patient Mr Quickslick....just like in thoroughbred horse breeding its all in the genetics (genes) these kids have it and more. Both will play baseball at major colleges. They pitch one from the right and the other from the left. They hit the heck out of the ball and both can run like the wind. Oh by the way they can both contribute on the football field. Get you pen and paper ready their signatures may be worth something someday. Remember its in the blood. And their off.....

It's a good thing we aren't placing unrealistic expectations on these kids...
