November 6, 20169 yr There are no guarantees in life. If this country keeps electing lowlife characters like Obama and whoever wins on Tuesday, there will be a day of reckoning for this nation and all of us will pay for the mistakes of the majority. And you are voting for who this election?
November 6, 20169 yr And you are voting for who this election?I haven't decided between Trump and a third-party candidate. I am leaning toward Trump but I am not proud to admit it. I am just having a hard time justifying not casting a vote against organized crime.
November 6, 20169 yr I haven't decided between Trump and a third-party candidate. I am leaning toward Trump but I am not proud to admit it. I am just having a hard time justifying not casting a vote against organized crime. I was wondering. If Obama is a low character person then I don't see how anyone can cast a vote for Hillary or Trump. IMO their horrible character traits far surpass anything horrible about Obama.
November 6, 20169 yr I don't remember 1929 at all, but I also don't remember reading about the U.S. being deeply in debt in 1929. It is one thing for a prosperous, powerful nation to withstand the strain a a deep depression, but imagine if the federal government had been so deeply in debt that it could not have paid federal employees, maintained the military, or provided temporary jobs and food to stave off starvation among its citizens. When paper money becomes worthless, except for wall papering homes, a nation is powerless to deal with widespread joblessness, homelessness, and deep poverty spanning multiple generations. Sounds like you support raising taxes and cutting spending to pay down the debt.

I don't know how that qualifies him for a higher position in the pecking order of character.
November 6, 20169 yr Sounds like you support raising taxes and cutting spending to pay down the debt. No, I support slashing social welfare programs and putting able bodied people back to work. There has never been more working aged people not in the workforce that there is today. Text revenues need to increase by removing barriers to economic development and collecting taxes from a more prosperous citizenry. No country has ever taxed itself to prosperity and this country would not be the first to succeed in doing so. In reality, the debt has reached such a high level that it is very unlikely that politicians could prevent the coming disaster, even if they had the desire to do so. There will always be politicians that will oppose workable solutions to this nation's problems by saying anything to get elected and put themselves in position to enrich their families, friends, and themselves.
November 6, 20169 yr Obama has defended everything that Clinton has done. I don't know how that qualifies him for a higher position in the pecking order of character. Okay.
November 6, 20169 yr :lol2: :lol2: :lol2: It's just mind boggling that corruption is tolerated at any level especially at the level of the DOJ.
November 6, 20169 yr Okay.Is condoning and defending crime really that much different than engaging in it yourself? Obama hired Hillary and that was his first mistake. Not firing her was his second mistake. Endorsing her and campaigning for her was his third strike. I don't see how anybody who thinks Hillary lacks the character to become president could believe that Obama is a man of good character.
November 6, 20169 yr It's just mind boggling that corruption is tolerated at any level especially at the level of the DOJ. Everyone calls it corruption when their side isn't in control. Been that way for as long as I have been alive in my 42 years of life. Nixon was corrupt. Carter was corrupt and inept. Reagan was corrupt. Bush I was corrupt. Clinton was corrupt. Bush II/Cheney were corrupt. Obama was corrupt. I'm thinking whoever wins Tuesday will be corrupt. 'Merica

'Merica I was no fan of Carter, but I have never known anybody who accused him of being corrupt. Inept, no doubt. Corrupt, no. I also do not recall any allegations that Bush I was corrupt, unless the charges were leveled by the masters of mud, Bill and Hillary Clinton. Bush enjoyed very high job approval numbers for most of his single term. Allowing Bob Dole to talk him into agreeing to renege on a no new taxes pledge cost him the election, IMO.
