#7 Lexington Christian meets up with #10 Somerset, could we see an upset? Mayfield, CAL and DeSales at the top, see that before, what can we expect from them this week? Who could move up after this week? Who could move down? Who is waiting for an opportunity to move in to the Top 10?

Somerset is definitely the strongest team LCA has played all year. I could see Somerset getting the win in that one.

Somerset is catching LCA on a good week to pick them off. However I think LCA prevails, but it really could go either way.

I would agree with that. Going into the year, most thought that this district would be a three team dogfight.

2A is the best class top to bottom or from 1 - 25, and when you look at the bottom 7 you see a program like Murray that is down it tells you how good the competition level is. I believe Mayfield, Danville, Glasgow if they improve running game, Lexington Christian, and Deslaes are as good as they come. I am not knocking Louisville Christian or Somerset, those other schools are just playing great football and are well coached. (Glasgow) has great depth, but their running game must improve to Win it all, because right now they are average at best running the football. I would not be shocked to see Danville get this State Championship. Their team speed/and physicality up front is very good. Best of luck to all in 2A

I would love to see Danville for the sake of comparison. As we all know, defense wins championships, and I still think the 2-A champion will come from among the top three in the rankings for that reason.
