It's cool. Hard to keep track of sometimes. I think either way you break it down, Raceland and Paintsville will likely end up playing each other in the regional final.

Bracken has to beat 3-0 in the district Nicholas to even be considered in the playoffs as #1 seed. With the schedule NC has played I think they are #1 either way. Bracken is currently 1-1 in the district?! Bracken underestimated BROSSART!!! Nicholas has received no love this year and has done an excellent job. Why all the excuses about them?! Maybe they are just a really good team!

Bracken would be the #1 and get a bye then would play either Paris or the Raceland/Paintsville loser, Nicholas would be the #2 and host Fairview, Paris would be the #3 seed and go to Raceland/Paintsville loser, Brossart would be the #4 and go to the Raceland/Paintsville winner.

I am not buying the Nicholas has received no love comment. They have received a lot of attention. If your comment is because you think they should be ranked higher in the poll, I disagree.

They have received love just look at the rankings. They have been in the top 10 in 1A all year and have just kept moving up the ladder. They will win the district and be the #1 seed and play Berea (I think) in the 1st round and get credit for a playoff win. After that it's either Raceland or Paintsville......Both are top 5 (Maybe top 3).

Glad for Nicholas County, grew up in the County, moved to the big city and keep a close eye on the Bluejackets, I am sure the folks in Carlisle and the County are excited. Keep winning Bluejackets. I think you are earning the respect you deserve.

Sorry I thought they were one of the district where the #5 team played the #1. I think that would have been good for them to get a little post season work in before either Raceland or Paintsville comes to town. Either one would end a playoff run before it starts.
