Final from Boyle County. Garrard makes it a game in the 1st half. 2nd half was all Boyle.

Excellent statement win for Boyle

I am on board with them as #3 right now I think

So much for that competitive district. Looks like it will come down to Rebels and Knights.

Went about as expected. Boyle County still has a lot of work to do before next week's game. Next up Lexington Catholic. Good job Rebels!

Hoping to see them a little sharper after the bye week but still playing much better than first of the season. Will find out how much fight they got in em next week.

Garrard's O line is big and physical. Garrards RB's run hard and always fall forward.

Boyle had some silly defensive penalties that helped keep Garrard's TD drives alive and Boyle just played the "fake" punt horribly. Take those plays away and Boyle probably gets the shut out.

The Rebels continue to improve every week and remain healthy.

Next up.....just Catholic. Sure would be nice to get a win next Friday!

Boyle beat a pretty good Garrard team, basically shutting them down the last two and a half quarters. Garrard's all time leading rusher was pretty much a non factor. He got more yards against the JVs in that last drive than he had earlier. That was not a fake punt, but bad snap that Garrard was able to turn into a long run. The Rebels are getting better with each game. They have many offensive weapons that make them very hard to defend. This was a real coming out performance for Landen Bartleson another very talented freshman. Next week should be a real measuring stick to see how far we have advanced by going to Lex Cath.

I agree Bartleson changes the look in the backfield-and helps the offense tremendously . Bartleson and Smith are different type athletes than everyone else. Chuck Smith has also started playing the freshman Kelly on the d-line regularly which changes the entire defensive front when you have Kelly and Paycheck, those two dominated the defensive front when they were in together last night. Smith continues to make tweeks as the season continues, this Friday in my mind will be a good measuring stick to gauge the progress. In my opinion Catholic will be the second best team Boyle has played.
