Bumgarner has now thrown 23 innings in winner-take-all playoff games. Here's his ERA in those games.

Here is the complete list of pitchers who have thrown multiple winner-take-all playoff game shutouts in MLB history.

Madison Bumgarner

Bumgarner is only 27 years old, and has pretty much punched his Cooperstown ticket already. Dude is the most underrated pitcher in baseball IMO.

He's 8-3 with a 1.94 ERA in 97.3 postseason innings pitched....Absurd.

Think the Mets regret letting him get through three innings only throwing 21 pitches?

It certainly was a factor, but I think they would have let him go 140 last night.
