Arnold Palmer's Memorial Service

Featured Replies

If you are able to get in front of a TV, Arnold Palmers Memorial Service is on ESPN right now. Very moving ceremony.

Currently playing Aaron Copland's "Fanfare For The Common Man" at the service. Giving me BIG TIME chills.

Vince Gills voice is haunting on that song..."Go rest high, Arnie!"

Palmer playing in the 1953 North & South Amateur Golf Championship at Pinehurst Country Club, Pinehurst, NC while on leave from his yeoman duties in the 9th District Auxiliary office.

Maybe the most iconic Arnold Palmer photo of all.

Was Tiger there? I never saw him.
I was surprised he wasn't. He definitely wasn't shown on ESPN. I saw Phil, Rickie, Bubba, Tom Watson, Ernie Els, DLIII, and Billy Horschel.

I never saw him on screen or heard his name mentioned during the part of the service I watched, which was most of it.
