Purple88, if you are looking for restaurants before or after the game, two of the best in the South End are right on Strawberry Ln/ 3rd st near DeSales. Hoops is a non chain sports bar with good wings, burgers, and great chili. Rubbies has great BBQ, sandwiches, etc.

So... CAL has started a website beatdesales.com Whoever created it, openly states that CAL, and their supporters can't stand DeSales. Wow! That hurts guys. You guys keep focusing on us, and we'll focus on bigger and better things. lol

 

Wow! That's...interesting! I sure hope that is student-driven. If not, it's just sad.

Game day is finally here! We need the student body to be on their toes today and clear the parking lot as quickly as possible once school is out this afternoon! :-)

Great suggestions Pete W,,,,, Hoops(I like their Rueben sandwich) Rubbies (smoked wings are a must) are great spots and both serve adult beverages (if you like that sort of thing). Also you can get Jimbo's BBQ at the corner of Newcut & Kenwood Dr., across from Iroquois Park. Speaking of Iroquois Park, there is parking there, but they are hosting the Pumpkin Festival which is very popular....so I can say if parking is going to be available there.....
