Not sure who will win the game, but can state one thing with ironclad certainty: Desales faithful will be old school, good natured, knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. CAL faithful will complain about the parking, complain about the food, complain about the seating, and generally use language and behavior mot reflective of the "fish" magnets all over the backs of their cars.

This made me laugh out loud. I love it.

CAL week.....here we go! It's a GREAT rivalry and I look forward to seeing how we stack up against them at this point in the season. I would have made them a two TD favorite earlier in the year. At this point, I would say they remain the favorite, but by a much smaller margin.

Kind of an inappropriate and unjustified low blow to any program. why not keep the thread on the game and the teams?

I met alot of CAL fans and they great people.

Desales Dad=a man. Colt Football=a child. Anyone who can read can see in his comments. Good luck to both teams.

Turnovers will decide the game. Always has. CAL's going to throw the ball. But the Colt's secondary is good. CAL has a solid D, but I do give DeSales the depth advantage. We have about 4 kids plus our QB that can run the ball. We were running the ball effective against them last year in our first game, then kinda abandoned it. If we can get pressure on the qb, like last years playoff game, make him throw the ball faster than he wants too, then our secondary can have a nice game. If we can't get pressure on him, and he's having all day back there to make his reads then it could be a long night.

You got me buddy. How much do you know of this rivalry? Have you ever been to one of the games? It will be a great game but there is no love between these two programs and I won't act like we're buddy buddy with them. No disrespect to any other Desales posters intended.

Great rivalry.

Good luck to both.

May it be injury free.

Best team win !

Here we go! This will be a LONG work week. The Colts had to go without their starting QB Friday. Not sure yet if starter will be back, so CAL will have to prepare for two QBs whose skill sets could not possibly be any different.
