As stated earlier, WesternFootball is not a Mayfield fan fishing for compliments, and I have read ZERO Mayfield supporters that realistically think our boys could hang with these teams for 4 quarters.

On a side note, I would pay good money to see a Belfry, Bowling Green, Male, and T playoff!!

Doesn't that say more about McCracken than Mayfield?

I was correcting his "beating McCracken year after".

You should add Ryle and Simon Kenton to the list of 6a teams that mayfield cant play with. They are good but C'mon man. Please don't compare them to Trinity.

If Conner can hang within two scores of Simon Kenton, Mayfield could beat Simon Kenton. If Henry Clay can hang within one score of Ryle, Mayfield could beat Ryle.

As to Trinity or Male, that is too steep a hill for Mayfield.

Or maybe you should add Conner to the list that mayfield cant play with?

No I'm not from Mayfield. Just a football fan in general. I just thought this would be an interesting topic.

There ya go spinstopshere

No, but they will give it everything they got.

Just having such a thread with the question ask is a great tribute for such a small, rural school. I think that says a lot for our football program. Our football program has always been a source of pride for many in the community and it always make me smile when I meet people from other places and they mention the Mayfield football program. Growing up here kids dream of being a Mayfield Cardinal and work hard to be a part of it. My granddad, my dad and myself all played and this is common place. The names are a lot of the same that were on the roster 50, 60, 100 years ago.

No, but they will give it everything they got.

I don't doubt it for 1 second.
