Hamilton might be done for the year.

Reds have lost 10 of last 14.

Highlight was the crowd going crazy for free pizza. 2 outs in the 9th with 10 strikeouts. Batter has 2 strikes, check swings twice and they appeal but says he doesn't swing. Hits a chopper over the mound and throw him out at first. Mets challenge and win. Next batter strikes out and crowd goes nuts. FREE pizza.

I noticed that also, at least the announcers let everyone know that didn't already know what was going on.

This is becoming a pattern for Hamilton. At least he seems to have begun to turn the corner at the plate.

Most of them have been because a 160 lb man is diving and crashing into walls. This is one of those crazy oblique injuries. I do agree that he seems to have made huge strides this year at the plate. You combine that with the way Peraza has swung the bat lately, and it gives us a bit of excitement about the possibility of the top of the Reds lineup next year.

Reds had a nice tribute for Jay Bruce and his family during the pregame yesterday. Didn't realize how much charity work that he was a part of in the community.

Reds don't to win against Mets. They are right on the tail of the Cards for the wild card.

The thing is, even if he only gets his OBP to .330, he's an all star level player given his defense and speed. I think Reds fans have to be happy with his progress.

If Hamilton doesn't play the rest of the year, does he still win the gold glove? I would assume so since not many games left.

I'd say yes at this point.

Any reason why?

I'd say he did the charity work because he's a really good guy and cares about people.......

Any reason why?

Are you seriously asking why Bruce did charity work in the community?

I'm hoping he's asking why they did a tribute...
