I'm looking forward to the Belfry @ JC game to end the regular season!

 

Ahhhhh whoever loses will blame it on resting all their starters like the past three years HAHA

 

I'm planning on making the trip down for Belfry/Johnson Central at the end of the year. I'm sure I'll be sitting with @Watusi, but I'd love to meet some BGP folks from both schools if I can.

4A. Another nice all around effort. JC was in position twice to put the running clock into play but those drives stalled. JC has to clean up the mental miscues. If I recall correctly they had 5 false starts on a 1st and goal situation. Even though they were able to punch it in on that drive, there will come a time when that may come back to bite us. Solid games by freshmen Cody Rice and Riley Preece as well. JC was also able to work on building some depth at LB and in the secondary later in the game which is always a positive because you can practice it until the cows come home but nothing beats live reps. Now on to South Charleston who will be bringing in Penn State commit Derek Pitts Jr.

Never doubted the outcome in this contest. Congrats on another win.

Not having 2 starting inside linebackers is not a recipe for success against a Matney team.

Johnson Central looked really good tonight. I am not sure I was as impressed as I was with them last year but they are really good.

 

I thought there backs ran much harder and that their secondary is improved. Not having the Pack kid as a kicker makes a difference when you try to flip the field but the kicker did a great job on PATs.

 

Central dominated the game and I bet they had close to 100 yds in penalties.

 

Lex Cath is athletic and dangerous but they are well behind Belfry. If Lex Cath comes out of the West (and based on the Boyle game tonight I figure Lex Cath or Central are the favorites) then the winner of Belfry/Corbin (barring no big upsets) would be heavy favorites.
