Ironton always seems to give Russell problems no matter how far down they are but I think Russell gets a close win at home.

This gave me a good chuckle. It wouldn't surprise me if that were the final score. Both offenses looked horrendous in week 1.

Wheelersburg's QBs combined for 6 TD passes against Ironton, so they appear to be susceptible to the pass. Improvement in the passing game will also make life a little easier for Conley.

When will Evan Ison be Back? Also whats the word on Brinkman,Will he be out for a few weeks or try to play Friday?

Conley really needs to get going in this game. He was probably frustrated after the Greenup game. With a little better line play he could really put on a show against Ironton.

Brinkman is questionable for friday. I know the kid and if they will let him on the field he will be there.

I look for this to be a good game with the Fighting Tigers pulling off a close win.

After all those years of Belfry playing and losing to Ironton, it is hard for me to imagine a Tiger team who is struggling to find wins. Not too long ago, they were a machine.
