I don't think this years game will be as close as last year and it will be in Russell's favor. I still expect a good game.

I saw Russell beat up a bad team at the grid. Saw Greenup tie a bad team at the grid. This week Greenup beat up a bad team and Russell to my understanding played really well against a typically very strong team. I give the nod to Russell.

Wheelersburg,Ohio would beat West Carter, but I agree West is a decent team but not Wheelersburg good who Russell led 10-7 at halftime and lost 21-10 in varsity action.

This will be a pretty interesting matchup. I'm anxious to see how Russell's OL/DL play looks. I'm equally excited to see the product Scott Grizzle puts on the field at Greenup County. Should be interesting.

With a two former Raceland coaches, one being a standout Ram QB ... I am neutral in this "family battle", should make for a good family dinner the next time these two coaches are there.

I think that Russell has too much for GC and if T.J. can keep them from being far too over confident going in then Russell will win. Anything less than a total effort from the Devils and GCHS will get them. S. Grizzle has his kids believing.

As for the game, I think it's a toss-up. I'll go with Russell in a close one 21-20.

I replied to what he had said before going back and reading my statement. In the scrimmage against Greenup Co, west was not a good team. Did they play better against Raceland yeah I think so. They still are not as good as they were last year. Probably in fact not a very good team. Bad team may have been extreme.

I am friends with both staffs, treat kids on both teams and graduated/played ball @ GC.........I'll be shaking hands, kissing babies, laughing at all the jokes AND sitting/standing in the endzone! No way I'm picking either team.
