Just sticking up for West Carter in a reasonable way. A ram fan was on this board posting about how West Carter is a "bad team". I was just trying to point out that none of the teams mentioned have destroyed West Carter lately. So if they are so bad, how good does that make a team that can't put them away with ease. Just like last year, after the Raceland West game, I pretty much knew how both teams seasons would play out. I wish both teams the best and admire the Raceland program. Just as last year, not being a hater, just giving what I think is my realistic opinion.

 

O.K. :thumb:, I misunderstood. I absolutely believe as you, about WCHS "Not" being a bad team. I had quoted another poster when he disagreed with the one that said WC was bad.

Greenup has held Conley in check in 6 of the last 8 quarters played in this series. If Greenup can finish and keep from getting worn down they take this one. Things will be a little different this year with Grizzle calling the plays. More sustained drives should help the defense catch there breath this year. Excited to see this game and this season play out.

Again as I said earlier, I am neutral in this one. I have good friends and some family in both fan bases. I like and respect Coach Maynard (with the job he did at Raceland) and Coach Grizzle (a former player, asst. coach at Raceland). I picked Russell bc that's who I think will win.

Best of luck to both teams and I hope both remain injury free.

No Problem,I saw it on twitter and thought I would pass it along.

I think that this should be a very good game. I feel that the Russell running backs Conley, and Blackburn will have to compensate for a just average Russell offensive line. Greenup has a good team and will be ready for this one. If Russell can hang onto the ball they should win this one.
