Baltimore Women Shot and Killed

All over traffic violations. So sad. What is wrong with people?

This is just a crazy story. Why would people be encouraging her to not give up peacefully?

Because people are sick.

Sounds like she was a sovereign citizen.

Some of those folks, at least the ones I've seen on YouTube, are looney tunes

This woman's misguided understanding of how the world works and the rule of law just left her son injured and orphaned...sad situation all the way around.

Should be charged with at least obstruction of justice.

Any follower posting that didn't tell this lady to let that little boy leave should do time.

That kid is lucky to be alive.

Is this a new thing for people to refuse license plates and tags due to their Constitutional rights?!

Police: Driver flees officer, because Constitution

An Elmwood Place woman told an officer that the Constitution gave her the right to leave a traffic stop which ended with a high speed chase to her own driveway Tuesday night, according to court documents.

Jasmin Artis, 30, and her 5-year-old child were traveling near Vine and Lombardy streets about 9 p.m. when they were pulled over by an officer who said her vehicle registration was expired, an affidavit states.

Artis told officers she did not have to renew her registration because she was "traveling," not driving, documents state.

The officer told Artis that her vehicle would be towed because of the expired registration. Artis said the United States Constitution allowed her the right to travel without police interference, according to the affidavit.

Artis then led the officer on a high-speed, one-mile chase that ended on her own driveway on 65th Street, documents state. Artis fought off the officer's attempt to arrest her and asked bystanders for help.

Artis is charged with resisting arrest, endangering children and failure to comply, along with traffic violations. Her arraignment is Wednesday.

After watching hours of civil unrest on TV and reading page after page of anti-law enforcement blogs people begin to think this way.

This shrinks the margin of error even more for police.

She made a promise in the traffic stop video that they'd have to kill her. Lady of her word. Moron.

The level of stupidity in our society is at an all-time high. It's disturbing at this point.

Those that told he not to give up peacefully absolutely should be charged. Endangering a peace officer sounds right, if that is a charge.

I agree, kind of like that dude who said burn this place down, but yet did no time. While all the fires endangered many people.
