August 1, 201610 yr Author Here's your problem, and many of the extremists like you, whether right or left. If you question 1 person, you are immediately lumped in with the other. You missed the part where I stated that I was completely against Clinton. I just mentioned that you can't hold Trump out as this ultra successful businessman, when, given the finances that he started with, he really isn't. The man was gifted a fortune, he should have done better. I agree with you and didn't intend to lump you in. I was just speaking my mind on the subject. Actually I'm more of a middle of the road type guy but this Hillary thing has me running the other direction this year... She's just that awful.
August 1, 201610 yr I've seen posts where some are considering a third party vote' date=' or have even decided on it already.[/quote'] That's the group who has the Meteor 2016 bumper sticker.
August 1, 201610 yr Businessman yes, but you can't declare Bankruptcy to protect assets as President. I'm totally against Clinton and the Democratic movement to govern so many aspects of people's private lives. However, you can't say that debt is our biggest threat and then not mention Trump's corporations walking away from debts with the help of our court system. Don't be so sure on this one--The same was said about cities, counties, etc. and now they're seeking bankruptcy protection? Also, as FTN said below; most large risk businessmen/women do fail occasionally and real estate developers are among the largest rise takers in that regard. Look around the area you live and you'll see several examples of some of the "pillars of the community" who've created many landmarks; and you'll find similar examples of using the financial laws to their advantage. You'll never see that from politicians as they never risk their own money--Only ours! Hillary has never created a single job unless you count Chelsea's as director of their foundation? If you're interested in waste, look at the paltry amount of money collected in their Foundation that actually went to help anyone not named Clinton?

I cannot vote for either Clinton or Trump. 24 years of Clinton has proven that she is about as trustworthy as Putin. Trump isn't smart enough, IMO.
August 1, 201610 yr I wouldn't imagine many of our public servants have created jobs not just Hillary.

Honestly I'm not a Trump guy but my lord this is the funniest attack on him. Almost every successful businessman in the country has had to file for bankruptcy. Some of our greatest businessman though out history have done it. It is put in place to allow innovation and for people to take risks to grow the economy. I applaud all business minded people willing to take risks. People who criticize it , don't seem to fully grasp it. Bankruptcy isn't always a negative concept.
August 1, 201610 yr I'm not commenting on all the other comments but the one thing of note that needs to be discussed is Hillary Clinton lying about her emails again and her private server. She lied on Fox News Sunday and the Liberal Washington Post gave her the highest level of liar status. Then to top it off her aide on MSNBC was asked about her lie and he proceeded to lie again. She looked all of America in the eye again , after we all know the facts and lied. This was a matter of National Security and even after she is a proven liar she still won't own up to it. As I've said in the past I disagree with Obama on policy and never thought he was a bad person. Hillary Clinton is a bad human being and the least trust worthy politician of my lifetime. I know all politicians lie but she has taken it to such level it's disgraceful. Her ego is so ridiculous she doesn't think we are intelligent enough to understand.

The corporations didn't go broke trying to do anything revolutionary. This isn't Steve Jobs or Bill Gates. The man was speculative. He was not pushing the envelope. There is a difference bn taking a chance and shirking responsibilities.

The very reason C-corp, S-corp, LLC'S and other forms of incorporation were established was to allow business to take risk or try to expand without much personal liability. There is no description on what is valid risk. The entire point of incorporation is to shrink individual responsibility. Those same businesses that contracted with Trump took similar risk. Hence the phrase the cost of doing business. If Trump weren't good at what he did then he wouldn't have companies wanting to work with him.
August 1, 201610 yr Hillary is a vile human being. There is little redeeming quality there. I don't get how people blindly follow her

I don't find him to be that talented at business. Self promotion, yes. Sound business decisions, absolutely not. Man has had the power of leverage his whole life thanks to Dad. He has had an advantage that almost no entrepreneur ever even dreams about.
