Hillary Clinton

You can say that again.

Perhaps her comment was hyperbolic (okay, it was hyperbolic). I believe it was precisely because he is NOT some jihadist - that we should expect infinitely better than the bigotry, misogyny, xenophobia, belittling and the like that we're getting from one of our own.

But I could be wrong. As I've been reminded all too often.:lol2:

He's horrible, no question. But to even suggest that Hillary isn't equally as horrible boggles my mind and I've seen most (if not all) of our left leaning friends do exactly that. For anyone to suggest one is the lesser evil is simply absurd and you can bet it's to walk the party line. The solution is simple. If you're going to vote, do what's right for the country as well as yourself, vote third party.

Even the people on MSNBC were giving Clinton a hard time last night about her lying concerning the FBI Director's sworn statement and her e-mails. They were saying that she was handpicking bits and pieces of his statement and then twisting them to claim that she was being truthful. They could not understand why she just didn't own it and put it behind her.

Are Mysterious Deaths Connected to the Clintons? – DennisMichaelLynch.com

How can article of lawlessness after article, strange deaths one after another, scandal after scandal be attributed to one presidential candidate who still has support? How far will the left go just to further their platform? This is beyond surreal. Trump is not the greatest but because of the politics and elitism and lawlessness of people like the Clintons, that's what the country is running to.

I've come to the conclusion that people in government, especially elected politicians, are in the HRC camp because she is a lifetime politician and will allow the status quo of politics to continue. Donald Trump is not a politician. He threatens the political way of life and most elected politicians are threatened by him. IMO, the number 1 problem with our country is the disconnect between politicians and the American people. This disconnect comes from lifetime politicians and elected officials that have not been in the real world for quite some time. I am not sure what it would take to get congressional term limits, but I think term limits would be the best thing to happen to our country. There is a reason the president has term limits. It's because the founding fathers did not want a king. Instead, we have Kings and Queens in congress and it is a real problem in our country.

If proven true, will the Democrats still go with her as their candidate?

The founding fathers had nothing to do with presidential term limits (although most early presidents did voluntarily step aside after 2 terms) There was no mention of term limits in the constituion when it was written, and the founding fathers addressed term limits by having relatively short election cycles (2 years in congress, 4 for the president, and 6 for senators) which were designed as a measure of accountability. If the people weren't happy with the elected official, they vote him out next time around. Presidential term limits did not become a part of the constitution until the 22nd Amendment was passed in 1947.

The bold is my point. The first 5 president's were founding fathers. One was beaten in an election. The other 4 resigned after 2 terms. I understand it was not part of the Constitution, but the actions of these men speak pretty loudly. The actions of these men were also followed until FDR. I would say the actions of the founding fathers resigning after 2 terms and the continuation of this precedent until FDR was elected 4 times from 1933 to 1945 had everything to do with presidential term limits that became part of the constitution in 1947.
