Ryle 2016

Don't need you to put our 7 on 7 experience into perspective. You're not a Ryle fan anyway so why are you over here. Getting bored or scared in Ft. Thomas. We were the best 9 times last year on Friday nights and I don't see much of a drop off. Unless you have some insight to add that I'm not aware of worry about your team being .500.

Scared? Well if we're talking about 7-7 Highlands beat Ryle last week. But I don't hang my hat on that in know way. I was just stating 7-7 don't always translate into being the best. An the last I checked it's a public forum I post wherever. I never said nothing bad about Ryle. Congrats on the win in Oldham county.

This is the most talented team to come from any Boone county school in years. Look for a deep playoff run.

Guess there must not have been much talent on Cooper's 2012 team that made it to the State Finals.

All the teams left the tournament cause of heat. An I hope winning 7-7 doesn't give you the idea that it means your the best.

not all left. 4 teams left. Ryle ended up playing 9 games so they got a lot of work in. Yes if the other teams stayed it could have changed the results. But Ryle played all the games they were scheduled for. No it doesn't mean they are the best, but they played well and won 9 games. Plenty of kids got work, they beat the heat, ultimately making them stronger. Good trend to start the practice schedue. That's good enough for me.

I agree. An good luck to Ryle.

I don't think this is true. Ryle has nice talent, but still has a lot of holes to fill on the lines. Those guys also count as "talent". Ryle has a nice crop of skill guys but they lack much depth at those positions.

Ryle has 3 solid OL with experience (Chase Ross - Sr, Ryan Princepata - Jr and Parker Bisek - Jr). That will leave 2 spots to fill. On the DLine, don't be surprised if it is a Platoon with guys coming in and out. The three OL above may get multiple series on DLine as well.

This years team is the fruition of two undefeated FRESHMAN TEAMS. Neither of these teams were blessed with great depth as Freshman. What they do possess is two groups of very determined and well skilled players who as freshman played with a chip on their shoulder. there are a number of Juniors and Seniors who can contribute on both sides of the ball, and for the Raiders to be very successful there are a few that will need to go both ways. Over the past two years they have lost a couple of really good high school athletes which is a shame. That being said, there is enough there to be really good. Injuries, breaks, fate will all pay their parts in this upcoming season. They are blessed with a big time QB, a big time running back by high school standards and several skilled athletes at receivers and linemen.

Two inches in height separates Tanner Morgan and Jake Chisholm from the OSU'S, NOTRE DAMES, MICHIGAN'S, PENN STATES, AND ALABAMA, AUBURN, OLE MISS ETC. The constant will be the line. Fortunately the Raiders are blessed with several good sized, hard working linemen that have the skills to play offense and defense. Special teams will be a key component. the kicking game and special teams will account for at least one win this season. All in all, great expectations running high for the Raiders this Fall.

Will be a really good team and will run into a Louisville Catholic team.

They only thing I said is that they won the tourney so they obviously have good receivers. Never did I mention winning 7v7 carrying over to winning football games. Your bluebirds were 1-3 when they left because of "the heat". Can't blame them.

Season is over now for us huh 1-3 in 7v7. No football for us this fall now.

This Ryle team has 3 classes of players that are totally loaded. The juniors and seniors only know how to win. They will make a deep run.

Where Cooper's 2012 had 1 outstanding class, this year's Ryle team has 2. Ryle's juniors and seniors only know how to win.

You'll get no argument here. Ryle always has outstanding classes.

Does Ryle only have 6 games? Can someone post their complete schedule?
