July 19, 201610 yr I'm not a potato guy. I'd go Steak with a different side. Agreed...bone-in ribeye or porterhouse and some asparagus would be perfect. I do love ribs as well, but not a huge cornbread guy. Why didn't we pair the ribs with baked beans, then I'd have had to get out a quarter for flipping?

I never order steak unless it is from a really nice steak house. And I personally do not make a steak well enough at home, so steak for me is a rarity.

July 19, 201610 yr Are you one of those weirdos who can't have his food touching? :lol2: :lol2: No. A good steak stands on it's own and needs nothing but it's own flavors to be enjoyed. Mixing it with another food absolutely ruins the steak's flavor IMO.
July 19, 201610 yr Steak & Baked Potato. Cornbread is one of the most overrated things of all time. The jalapeno cornbread from Eli's BBQ is the exception to that rule, that stuff is special.
