I've obviously never had cornbread made right then.

I like steak more than ribs. I like a baked potato and cornbread equally.

 

I like cornbread with beef stew. (I'll crumble it up in my homemade stew.)

 

My wife gets a London Broil, sticks it in a slow cooker with onion soup and vegetables and lets it cook for hours. Then she'll add some beefy mushroom gravy and lets that cook for a while. When done you can cut that London Broil with a fork it's so good and tender.

I'll agree with that... The majority of the time I am underwhelmed with it.

Just Q'in BBQ has a very nice cornbread....just opened a new location in Walnut Hills. Their ribtips are spectacular!

 

As for the thread - steak and asparagus/tater running away!!

I hate cornbread so.....Steak and tater for me.

I was raised on southern kweezeen and love soup beans, but think cornbread is simply unnecessary. Maybe it's the texture.

I'd go with Steak & Ribs.

I think that depends. If you've never been to a good steakhouse, you probably don't notice. If you have, there are very few restaurants you can get a steak from.
