I think they all have a lot coming back so based on that you have to have the top 6A schools listed at the top of the list. I really don't know who has what so I just go with the normal suspects. Best guess:

I'm going to guess your top 5 is pretty solid! A good top 10 doesn't really shake out until about the midpoint anyway...

Respect your poll and your opinion, but there is no way you can ever put CovCath above Highlands in a pre-season poll. At least not until a lot of things change.

 

Additionally, if CovCath is #5 in NKY it says more about 6-15 than it does them.

Interesting to me, thus far, is that Highlands is out of the top 3 and Scott in the top 10 consistently.

Football has a lot to do with numbers. A 5A school or a 6A school should be embarrassed to be ranked behind a 1A or double A.

The Birds have earned the right to be in the Top 2 or 3 but I think they have their work cut out for them to keep that spot this season. Primarily because of the question marks on the offensive line.

 

Skilled players are abundant in Fort Thomas as they always are but Coach Turner will have to get his line ramped up quickly.

Simon Kenton, Ryle, Cooper and a go either way with Campbell. I don't know much about CCH and what their situation is this coming year.

All 4 of them. 3 of them beat them last year and CCH had them down 10-0 at half. That is why i have them 5th.

Had them down 10-0 and lost, then HHS won by 3 td's in the playoffs. They haven't beat the Birds in ten years, yet you think they should be slotted ahead to start the season? Sure, makes sense.
