NAVY.

Congrats to a very special young man that not only stands out on the gridiron but in life as well. Not only will he continue to play football but he will also help protect, serve and defend our country.

I am rooting for him to get 29 TDs this year for him to become BGHS alltime scorer. He could get it no problem if coaches gave him the greenlight but he and all of PurpleNation support Coach Wallace and his decisions with the kids.

Congrats Jamele!

Top Shelf!

Way to go Jamale!

Happy for and Proud of you!

Now just go have fun and play football!

congrats and thank you

No elaborate video, no countdown of his final number of schools, just a nice statement of thanks to God, his family, his teammates, his coaches, & all the schools that recruited him. No surprise here that a humble, smart young man took the time to consider all of the off-the-field benefits of an Academy education. Any success that Jamale Carothers has is well deserved! No one represents the Purples in a classier fashion.

Congrats and good luck, Jamale!!!!!

Well said. Best of success to the young man.

Didn't BG recently send a QB to Army?

Army = Trent Steelman. 4 year starter at QB for Army. Record Breaker in several areas. He had a great 4 years there!

From one navy guy to another, welcome aboard!!!

Blaine Bishop (former Titan All Pro) says running into a Navy player is like running into a rock wall.

All the benefits of an Annapolis education plus these hand painted helmets that are the best in the NCAA.

Didn't he have a stint with the Ravens also?

Trent was on practice squad for a short season with Ravens. Wears a whistle around his neck today.

As a coach or referee and where is he located at these days?

Wouldn't he still be serving?

Trent is Wide Receiver Coach at Jacksonville University. His duties with military ended at end of 2014
