HBO: The Night Of...

Episode 4 was awesome. I think this show is really going to take off now. The napalm was awesome. There is something about all of the attorneys coming and going and the different advice Nas is given. I'm calling a mistrial or something like that. This is the theme that I'm picking up on.

I spend half the episode thinking about how miserable prison would be. :lol2:

Same here. I have really enjoyed the first four (4) episodes. Does anybody know how many episodes are in season 1? It sounds like they didn't intend for a 2nd season, but might consider it given the show's success.

I think the second and subsequent seasons on the BBC focused on other crimes...but I could be wrong. I'll try to look it up later and see.

and the other half praying to never get Eczema!

I thought the premier was awesome. But everything since has been pretty bad . The only positive I have right now is cinematography. The writing has been bad.

I think there are going to be eight. It's going to be tough to pack in the whole trial process into those episodes, if that's their plan.

Saw a tweet that said one of the actors in the show said it will come "full circle."

What's bad about it? I'm pretty picky but I've enjoyed it so far.

Literally everything. It's all over the map. It's suppose to be an intelligent show and there is basically no way to tie everything they've wasted time on together to make believe it's an intelligent show .

I think that's the point, to show the utter chaos and randomness that is missing from your average 60 crime drame. Those try to answer every question and wrap everything up in a neat 60 minutes.

I feel in the end while we may get the big question answered, there will be a lot of small stuff that we just never know...kinda like in real life.

I think that's the point. You aren't supposed to know everything just yet. This isn't CSI: Miami

It's trying to hard and I can't imagine a single reason to spend this much time on feet.

Double post

Someone of the online reviews have speculated that the cat will be involved in the solution. No one, however, is mentioning the inhalator. When Detective Box was surveying the crime scene in episode two, the final shot showed the inhalator at the foot of the bed. Seemed very odd to me that Naz would have the murder weapon on him when taken into custody but not the inhalator.
