Me too. Everybody is hungry for fhe next Breaking Bad or Game of Thrones (especially HBO!) so I think standards are especially high these days. But I've been into it.

It's trying to hard and I can't imagine a single reason to spend this much time on feet.

I thought last night's episode was 'ho hum'. Not a lot of momentum gained with only a few episodes left.

Can't please everyone...

That's what keeps sticking out to me. Such a gruesome scene and the only blood is on his palm? Nah, he ain't the killer. I'm leaning towards the stepdad or someone we've not met yet, or maybe the guy that was driving the hurst at the gas station.

 

Just watched episode 7 last night. I have NO IDEA how they are going to wrap this whole thing up in the final episode. The ending is going to blow minds or upset a lot of viewers. I don't see it going either way. I can't help but think John Stone's cat is going to inspire something from him that will be key to an acquittal. That cat gets more air time than it should and I bet there's a reason for that.

That was a very disappointing ending. No drama. No twists. The final episode ruined the whole series for me.

We really don't know who did it. We think Naz didnt, and the BF did, but we don't know.

 

We do know Naz isn't the same person anymore.

I was talking to a friend today about this series. Here is what we've come up with to summarize everything: The act of murder was not the actual story. The 'who done it' was not the focus. There were several themes within the show that served as the real purpose: 1. how prison changes someone (innocent or guilty) 2. how prisons actually work (smuggling in drugs, doing despicable things to survive, how bad lawyers can be, etc.) 3. how quickly prosecutors are to charge someone without thoroughly investigating all avenues 4. how someone who is convicted of a crime can be judged by their friends & families, regardless of guilt or innocence.

 

If you look at it from these angles, the show was actually really good. If you are looking for a black and white resolution, you'll be disappointed. Just my thoughts.

I thought it was pretty good but short of superb. Ultimately, I liked the ending. Seeing everyone fall back into their "routines" was about as much as we could expect or ask for.

 

I wasn't crazy about how they got to it, though. The random love angle with the lawyer (not to mention her nonsensical decision to let him testify, find out he was tweeking, and get a fix for him so he could do it!) and Box's sudden investigation into the financial guy felt rushed and hodgepodge. I would have liked it better if they did away with the bizarre love element and made the financial guy a more organic suspect instead of springing him in at the last minute.
