The liberals like to cite the reduction of GUN violence in Australia from Gun Control measures. Of coarse, those "studies" never account for the increase of violence from the use of other weapons, of the increase of victims from home invasions because they are unable to defend themselves!

 

You wouldn't rather take your chances against somebody with a baseball bat, crowbar, knife, hammer than somebody with a gun? You're far more likely to survive such an incident, and it's far less likely for the perpetrator to rack up a big body count. It's a lot of work killing lots of people by hand.
