June 30, 201610 yr Why no outrage to ban the bombs that were used in this mass murder? Are there legal bombs? Maybe the answer is give everybody a bomb and Eliminate bomb free zones.
June 30, 201610 yr Are there legal bombs? Maybe the answer is give everybody a bomb and Eliminate bomb free zones. Gotta admit, that was a pretty good comeback. :lol2:
June 30, 201610 yr Are there legal bombs? Maybe the answer is give everybody a bomb and Eliminate bomb free zones. That's exactly the point, these maniacs don't need legal weapons to massacre large numbers of people.
June 30, 201610 yr Each time these attacks happen in America with a semiauto rifle many people start ranting about the need to strengthen gun laws. Why no mention of the firearms used in this attack? Because the guns were illegal. Turkish citizens are not allowed to posess fully auto or semiautomatic firearms. The gun laws in Turkey are very restrictive, very similar to what many want instituted in the US. While some will continue to push this agenda, it's time we realize that tougher gun laws will not stop these attacks.
June 30, 201610 yr While some will continue to push this agenda, it's time we realize that tougher gun laws will not stop these attacks. Neither will doing nothing. I, at least, think we need to try something. What's going on now is simply not working.

If it were that easy wouldn't Turkey have these everyday being about 12 hours from ISiS territory. I believe that both sides could come up with some answers that would make it difficult for terrorists (domestic and foreign). Both sides seem to want to avoid compromise and the safety of our citizens hang in the balance.
June 30, 201610 yr Neither will doing nothing. I, at least, think we need to try something. What's going on now is simply not working. That sounds eerily similar to what folks said about healthcare and look how that's turning out.
June 30, 201610 yr That sounds eerily similar to what folks said about healthcare and look how that's turning out. So you'd rather just continue with what's going on now than explore solutions...Got it.
June 30, 201610 yr So you'd rather just continue with what's going on now than explore solutions...Got it. Yeah, I don't need your help, I can speak for myself. Especially since your version isn't even in the ballpark. Let's pretend I've never offered any opinions on solutions so as to fit your narrative.
June 30, 201610 yr Yeah, I don't need your help, I can speak for myself. Especially since your version isn't even in the ballpark. Let's pretend I've never offered any opinions on solutions to so as tovfit your narrative. I said we need to try something and to look for solutions. You responded with some smart butt remark about the ACA. Seemed pretty evident that you aren't really interested in looking for answers.
June 30, 201610 yr There is only one way of dealing with terrorists who are willing to forfeit their lives to achieve their goals. You must extend the consequences of these attacks to the families, extended families and spiritual families of these people. In the case of the Orlando shooter, I deport everyone in their extended, nuclear and spiritual families. No exceptions! The entire jihadist support system must be held accountable. These matters must be culturally transformed from acts of criminal behaviour to acts of war!

You're advocating that we, as a nation, start holding family members equally responsible for crimes that are committed by other family members?
June 30, 201610 yr You're advocating that we, as a nation, start holding family members equally responsible for crimes that are committed by other family members? Mind numbing, isn't it? I mean...seriously.
June 30, 201610 yr You're advocating that we, as a nation, start holding family members equally responsible for crimes that are committed by other family members? I have no problem with questioning. Didn't the Orlando shooter's wife know about the attack? Getting information is different, but punishing a family for the crime seems mind bottling (Blades of Glory reference).
