Im just wondering why now its an issue.

Since the thread is speculating I assume we can post what the speculation is.

 

Speculation/accusation is that that Paintsville coach gave JC player(s) a business card with his personal phone numbers on it. Why? That's the question being asked. Speculation is that he's wanting players to switch schools.

 

I'm sure there's more detail to this but that's essentially it. Why did the Paintsville coach gave a business card with his home and cell numbers on it to JC players?

This happens every day in this area. Its like a game of chess.

It doesn't really matter if they can't get their stars to actually play in the big games.

Maybe I have small school bias, but I see Paintsville as a Robin Hood. Usually it's the bigger programs taking away from the A.

I have no dog in the race but just looked these kids up and this is what I see...

 

1 I cant find anything on when he played last except this year.

 

2 Guess transferred in 2013 but has played all three years.

 

3 He has a right to choose a high school as an incoming freshmen.

 

4 Same as 3.

 

5 Shows two games so I'm assuming he got eligible late in the year.Shows no games played at JC.

 

6 Same as 3 and 4.

 

7 Shows he played in 14 and 15( Freshmen in 14).

 

8 Same as 7.

 

9 Same as 7 and 8 ( guessing his brother transferred in 13).

 

10 Same as 7,8, and 9.

 

11-14 Same as 3 and 4

 

15 Switching due to academics according to message board but was and did play for JC in 2015

 

16 The brother of 15 and will be an incoming freshmen in 2016.

 

Just what I see just don't mean I'm right...

Okay if this happened like where did the coach do it? In my head I'm imagining he walked into a JC weight room and did it (only because I think it's funny that way, but in reality I'm assuming he saw them in public)

 

I mean if you're recruiting at the HS level, you have to be smarter than that. That's leaving physical evidence behind. It's different if you're just talking to a kid because there's no proof of a conversation, if this guy really did it he legitimately gave them his business card with his name and phone number on it.

 

Maybe JC is lying, maybe they got ahold of the business card somehow and are conspiring it as an excuse because they're tired of their players leaving to go there. This would be a cool twist to the story. I'm really tired

 

These two teams just need to play.

No idea where the truth is but I have a really hard time believing it is anywhere close to the rumor.

 

And even if we assume, for the sake of argument, that it is true then it might be Karma coming home to roost in the Eagle nest.
