Best of luck to him. That is a lot to handle, particularly at a school that has to travel some distance for some of their games.

Away games different story. Im sure it will work out. I think it makes scheduling easier, and helps Title IX, schedule the games on the same night.

For this to happen though, the other schools have to be willing to pass on the standard format of JV / V. I don't necessarily dislike the idea, but I'm thinking scheduling is a nightmare.

In this case, it's not like there are likely a lot of qualified applicants or necessarily people knocking down the door to get the job...

Agreed but if one team doesnt have a JV team, they are not going to play it anyways just because.

Just curious, in this situation, if a coach has in-game issues and is asked to leave, does a KHSAA imposed suspension apply to the following 2 varsity games, or the 2 varsity games for the particular team? Hypothetically, of course because Patrick Kelsh isn't going to do anything to get thrown out of a game, right?! :thumb:

There's no way someone can do both jobs efficiently.

 

It will either be unfair to one of the teams, the coach, or all of the above.
