Patrick Kelsch named head coach at Robertson County

Featured Replies

I have every confidence that my man, Patrick Kelsch, will make this work.

He will be realistic in his goals, and plot a course for both programs which will work out to the satisfaction of all.

Patrick has had many years of success coaching girls basketball. I always wanted to see what he could do with a boys program. He'll make it work. Good luck coach!

Here's an article from the Maysville paper today. Kelsch actually told them he didn't want to give up the girls program.

Looks like he's planning on back to back practices and a lot of boy/girl double headers. With small numbers they likely don't have a JV team for the girls program anyway.

Excellent choice for RC. Bottom line is he may be the best Coach in the 10th region girls or boys and he has been one of the most successful and he truly cares about his kids.

Let's don't get carried away here. Good coach, no doubt, but I understand your bias.

I hope he wins the region with both teams and drops a mic on the Fieldhouse

Wishful thinking...but not likely (at least not this year).
