July 11, 201610 yr Author I hate to see DWade finishing his career outside of Miami but it's probably a good thing for the Miami franchise. Hard to believe he was never the highest paid player while playing for the Heat but that's no reason to overpay an aging star. The Lakers did it and look how it's affected their franchise. The CP3 trade hurt the Lakers way way more than Kobe's contract. When the luxury tax is taken into account Kobe's contract becomes an even smaller factor in the Lakers lack of success.
