Good game! The young kids got alot of playing time.

I said it. It's gonna be a long season for the eagles. The talent honeymoon is over. They should've ran the offense they are trying to run this year with last years team. Road game against a No. 1 seed at best.

Our running game was tough. But I was most impressed with the intensity the defense played with. Chris Lewis is underrated big time! This guy stood out. As well as Ford,Jackson,Griffith,Masterson, and all those young running backs we have. I counted 6 quality backs out there tonight with 3 of them being very young, and Walker not even on the field or that would be 7. Next week will be interesting with South Laurel. Also, I love the new uniforms. They looked like the Giants out there. Very nice.

Beware the Mercer Titans.... true the LexChristian team is definately down this year, but Mercer is going to be a legit 2A title contender.

WOW!! I didn't expect this score. I knew Mercer could be a great team but I was not sure I read the score right. It will be a tough week of practice in Lexington!!

:thumb: Chris Lewis will flat out hit someone every play he plays like a wild man. I was very impressed.....:thumb:

Wow .... If Mercer finds in all those kids , ones that will play defense they will be tough. Last year's defense was soft- LB's and DB's wouldn't hit anyone in support of the run. Looking forward to this years match up...

Defense wins championships , remember the Titans ....

Good luck to Mercer .... what happened to the Scottie Dog ? I thought we saw one last year ...

They ought to be a legit contender, they're a 3a, probably 4a, school competing in 2A.

Hey, that's just the way it is. When you merge they don't immediately bump you up. What is it? Every two years they reclassify?

I agree, I saw nothing soft about tonight. They were laying licks out there.

Thay have maybe 15 kids from Harrodsburg playing on the football team!!!!

There no 4a team

Yes he is. I was very impressed with him last year in the playoffs.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out down the road. Mercer has an advantage over others in their class but I really think Christian is down this year pretty bad. We'll see.
