Trump Scores Historic 13 Million GOP Primary Vote Blowout

Well not really. But here is a scary fact for you Libs( I know either Snopes or one of you with inside knowledge will discount this as farce). Who was the last president to win the White House? George W Bush correct? How many other people were running against him in the primary election? President Bush got 10.8 Million in the 2000 primary. The Donald as one Lib on here describes him easily broke that record in this primary while having 16 other people running against him with 13,266,277 votes. This says way more than any of you will be willing to admit.

I thought that the last President to win the White House was Barack Obama. However, I understand that denial is a fantastic defense mechanism.

My buddy Jess probably meant to say the last legitimate President to win the White House or the last President to legitimately win the White House. :)

Two things to keep in mind when comparing the 2000 primary with the 2016 primary. One, the population has grown by close to 30,000,000 people. That means more voters available to cast votes. Second, the 2000 primary (like most) was wrapped up by April, which drives down voting down in the later primaries. This year with the race not decided until recently, voting turnout was much greater. Because of this, I don't think Trump receiving the most primary votes ever is that significant.

His vote totals are certainly impressive. How many total votes were cast in the 2000 primaries vs the 2016?

That I dont know. I am still working so I cant research. I will try to look that up later or maybe someone can now.

George W. Bush received 10.8 million primary votes in 2000. The 13 million number for Trump did not include 1.1 million from Tuesday's California primary. Found it for you jj. Glad to help.

The magnitude of the disenfranchised vote will not be measured until election day. The encouraging thing if you are a Trump supporter, is that this is not a population that listens to the political press.

You're always right, Jesse. Far, far right! :)

Far right is true Science, and I was right.

Say what you want about the Don, the passion his supporters have leave Hill's in the dust. When the rubber hits the road, even her most ardent supporters in their hearts are basically "meh" about her.

So. Trump is bringing voters to the polls and Clinton has them running away from the polls. Interesting..
