If you look at Romney's numbers from 2012, you will find his numbers among hispanic and black Americans were pathetic. Something like 15% and 7 % if my memory is correct. Trump could just be alienating the people who would not be voting for him any way, while stimulating the heck out of white working class voters who have been absent from the polls in recent cycles. In addition, some of those minorities are responding to Trump's message because legal immigrants, resent the economic participation of illegal immigrants as much , or more that other segments of the population.

So you're saying it's OK for Trump to say racist things because it'll goose his support among bigoted whites. Heard the other day that voter registration in California has hit an all-time high of 72 percent. Trump is probably the greatest get-out-the-vote politician of the past 50 years -- only he's getting out the vote for the other side.
