June 22, 201610 yr I admit I only seen Bradley play during USA matches in big tournaments like the world Cup and these tournaments and he has never looked good. How does he keep his job? Is he a really good player but kind of Chokes on the big stage? Bradley is good when he plays his correct position. He's not good in the attacking mid position at all. And he's the worst passer I've ever seen.

He used a formation and a couple of players that would never (in a million years) work vs. Argentina. There was never really any gameplan that would allow us to attack. Hell...we didn't even take a shot.

Hard to be on point here, but imagine losing 3 of your best starters and replacing them with 30 plus year old subs and then asking them to press the World's #1 team who also has the greatest player that any of us will see for aylt least another 25 years. That is what he did. He didn't go all in in any direction. If you are going to be defensive, pack the middle. If you are going to press, go athletic. Don't do what he did.
June 22, 201610 yr Laying the blame on Klinsmann is ridiculous IMO. They don't have a player on the roster capable of being out there for Argentina, yet somehow his formation and game plan cost them the match? Please. At some point, you have to just be realistic with yourself and realize the US is light years behind being able to compete with the top teams in the world.
June 22, 201610 yr The U.S. played a little too "nice" last night. When you are overmatched skill-wise, you need to play harder and smarter than the opposition to have a shot at winning, plus having a little luck helps as well. You can't let the opponent score off of set pieces, but you need to score off of set pieces. Otherwise 4-0 is about right.
