I find it funny that most won't trade a player for any draft pick. Why not, these owners act like they have an actual relationship with the players involved. Why not take a 13th round pick for a player you aren't going to keep? What do you have to lose? Just tells me you want the opportunity to draft that player again.

I would have traded any of my players, but no one made any offers so I released them.

I've made Gronk and Dez available in the American and have not had 1 offer either

I'd rather just let a player walk than trade him for a 13th round pick that doesn't do much for me.

 

If someone thinks that player is good enough to be a keeper and wants a guy, then they should pony up at least something to get him. Why should I just give someone a keeper? I'd at least want a draft pick high enough to potentially make an impact (7th-9th round) at the least. Why should someone just give someone else a keeper?

 

I know you'll say, at least you'll get something in return. To me, a 13th round pick isn't something.
