My main complaint is that the main gym is typically way too hot.

I love watching all the games while I'm up there, but it's really hard to sit through 4 games when it's so hot/stuffy in the gym.

I would also appreciate it if the box scores would be posted for all the games, instead of just the main draw. Or at least all of the games from the main gym.

It is so hot in there

Ok, I know Indiana schools can't play schools a certain amount of miles away from the Indiana border, hence teams from Indiana aren't allowed in the KOB. How about next year inviting 3 or 4 Indiana teams, that way they're only playing Kentucky schools and it would be allowed (I believe). Invite New Albany and Romeo as your big time recruit from out of state. Maybe fort wayne north side, who's got one of that top sophs. in the country. Just a suggestion, idk if it's possible but worth a look for one year. Guaranteed every game New Albany played would be sold out so everyone wins.

I believe that work more for the KOB Shootout, as Indiana teams might meet up with somebody from Florida or Georgia or beyond in the regular KOB tournament.

Indiana schools can't play in a tournament out of Indiana...period. They can't play in a showcase if ANY team is more than 300 miles from the state line.

PA guy for the Trinity/CCH and BG/Berkmar games Monday night was a little over the top for my taste. I'm not sure if he is supposed to be neutral or not, but he certainly wasn't.

Other than that, I had a great time as iusual. I often wonder if KOB will ever outgrow Fairdale. That West Gym gets pretty packed for the bigger games.

My comments are based on the Trinity-Cov. Catholic game.

The PA announcer was too "poetic"---------just report what is happening...leave out the rhymes and the allliteration and the jive talk.......or whatever else he thought was cute.

As far as the heat is concerned, it seemed like once you got about half way up the bleachers, it became considerably if not umcomfortably hotter. Perhaps this resulted from fans blowng the heated air in a certain direction.

Otherwise, I have no complaints, only compliments.

The KOB has been my favorite holiday tournament for a long time. Very well run and very well organized.

My only suggestions would be a better selection of sports drinks and cool the gym down. Way to hot most days!
