This is true. Hearing he may be headed to Hart County.

Wonder what happened?

I believe the person who helped hire him at Garrard County is leaving the Garrard school system and he is following suit.

I don't know if the destination is accurate or not. As of now, I believe he has just resigned as a coach.

Looks like Ryan Young may have some opportunity, along with Spencer Crutchfield an Evan Preston. Young staff that could possibly stay around for more than a year or two.

That is exactly what they need. Someone who will stick around that is committed to the program. When you look at some of the more successful programs in the 12th Region one constant is a coach who has been at the school for quite some time.

Hate to see this for Garrard. They seemed to really make some progress toward the end of the year. They just haven't had the stability in this job to sustain success over the long-term.

From what I have heard, the coach resigned to move back home near Elizabethtown closer to family as they have a baby on the way.

Give the job to Crutchfield. He deserves a shot, he would do a great job IMO.

As of now, Young is the interim head coach. Henderson is having his first child which is the reason he gave the Advocate-Messenger for stepping down.

Officially today. Should be in both papers. Young has been an assistant at Garrard for two years and also an assistant at Boyle for one year. Had a terrific playing career at Lincoln County and Union College. Look for the current staff to remain with the possible addition of one more.

This is good for Garrard! They may finally have a coaching staff that sticks around for several years. Congrats Ryan Young, Evan Preston, and Spencer Crutchfield.
