May 18, 201610 yr All I know is that Simmons or Ingram will be a Laker and I couldn't be happier!!!!!!!!!

May 18, 201610 yr Who would you rather have? No real preference. Give LA the scraps!!!!!! I love the idea of Russell and Simmons having instant chemistry and I love Ingram because he is a Dukie. There is no bad choice for me amongst those two and they are the no brainer #2 left over choice.

May 18, 201610 yr I don't see the Celtics and Suns who are guard heavy taking Murray. So it looks like the Wolves could.
May 18, 201610 yr Ah come on...who do you really want? Don't be going soft twice in one week :lol2: I'm being for real. I like them both a lot. No preference one way or another. I've always liked Simmons and Ingram is a Dukie. I don't lose. Just like last year with Russell and Okafor. I'll only be disappointed if they choose someone other than Simmons or Ingram.
May 18, 201610 yr Easy to say for a fan of a team with the luxury of not having to decide between the two. Which is why I say the Lakers won the draft lottery for the second year in a row.
May 18, 201610 yr Which is why I say the Lakers won the draft lottery for the second year in a row. Not necessarily, Towns would have been an awesome pick for them. But can't go wrong with Russell or Okafor. Lakers really able to build a solid young nucleus last few seasons. Start with getting a steal with Randle at 7, then add Clarkson as a second round gem from the Wizards, Russell last year, and now Ingram/Simmons this year. Now if they can add a Derozan or a couple of players of that caliber in free agency and Lakers may be SHOWTIME again.
May 18, 201610 yr Don't confuse a high draft pick with hitting the proverbial lottery in this year's draft. Many of these teams will be vying for the same positioning next year. Is Ben Simmons or Ingram really franchise changers?
May 18, 201610 yr Don't confuse a high draft pick with hitting the proverbial lottery in this year's draft. Many of these teams will be vying for the same positioning next year. Is Ben Simmons or Ingram really franchise changers? Both fit in perfectly in LA with Russell, Clarkson, Randle. Other than the Wolves what team would have as much youthful talent? If the Lakers had the #3 pick I'd be hoping that they trade it.
May 18, 201610 yr Not necessarily, Towns would have been an awesome pick for them. But can't go wrong with Russell or Okafor. And you can't go wrong with Ingram or Simmons IMO either. Which is why I say they won it again. I'm not saying they beat Philly or Minny but getting the #2 pick the last two years is a win-win IMO.
May 18, 201610 yr Ah come on...who do you really want? Don't be going soft twice in one week :lol2: With each passing minute I am leaning towards wanting Ingram more. Mainly because I like his scoring ability over Simmons'. The Lakers need a bona fide scorer for the nights when Clarkson and Russell can't throw it in the ocean. I think Ingram is going to be a bona fide scorer in the NBA. Having a 6'8ish player who can shoot the 3 is damn near essential in the NBA these days.
