Wasn't it the Mets managers choice?

Conveniently

Yes, both are from Vegas.

That explains it, got to keep your own players happy if possible. I'd guess Noah will get the start if he wants it?

The Rays have now lost 20 of their last 23.

Doubt it. He left the Mets game early last night with arm fatigue.

Most generally the all star manager will lean towards his own guys when making all star decisions.

Bumgarner took a no no into the 8th tonight before Jake Lamb singled into right. Earned the SHO with 14 k's

I think he is scheduled to start their 1st game after the ASG too. Why not?

During the All-Star game broadcast, they showed the stats that Tony Gwynn had against the Braves' big 3, Maddox, Glavine and Smoltz. Dude flat out raked it against some of the best.

Nice to see MLB recognize his feats, as well as Rod Carew, by naming the respective NL and AL batting titles after them.

AL got out a big jam in the 8th, lead 4 to 2 going to the 9th.

Home field advantage in game 7 of the World Series didn't look too important to Nolan Arranado in that last AB?

The all star game deciding Home field advantage is a joke

Give Cubs fans another person to blame?

287 plate appearances against those 3 pitchers, only 3 strikeouts. He had 107 plate appearances against Maddux and never struck out.
