Has that been confirmed or just another rumor? I know she has not been to any of the open gyms.

Survive it..who knows, ok player...first team all region player is better than ok in my book and as far as ND having better team that sounds like someone who is bitter about something. Good luck!

Funny thing.... This is what you posted about a year ago..."Jenna will make a big difference this year. Her shinning stars team had a couple NCC girls on it. I watch them play a few times and they looked pretty good. They picked up the Brock girl from dixie"

And also many posts about the Brock girl from Dixie....so 1) Martin goes from making a big difference to just an ok player, and 2) you seem very intrigued about the Dixie girl for supposedly sounding like an NDA supporter or parent, i.e.; the "We can survive it, ok player, NDA has a better team" comment. Just saying.....

Can anyone speak to the reason behind Martin choosing Highlands? She has accepted a college offer already. Highlands always has good basketball, but it's not like they're loaded like Holmes, MasonCo, SK, Campbell. If she wanted to get to a state tourney her senior year, these teams probably have better chances. Assuming they still live in Grant County, that is pretty far too. Can't imagine it's easy relationally to pick up and move schools your senior year. Is there a Highlands connection?

First of all my apologies to everyone especially Jenna. When you get my age your mind has tunnel vision. Great player, my comment was really about students transferring to other schools. I'm on the fence on this but schools have to play with the girls that come out. ND has always been a power in all sports, so I'm assuming they will work it out. Highlands and NCC has recently gone through this. As far as kids I've seen play, they have come up though the shinning stars organization. And I'm not starting an aau debate, there are other great aau organizations out there. Just the one I watched the most.

Yes Richey and her. I believe he coached her years ago. What are the KHSAA rules on transferring without a real physical move. Not sure how I feel about it as it surely sends a really boderline message to play at 3 schools in 4 years. I know interviewing people if I see 3 jobs in 4 years it's a red flag. As far as NDA they I would think will be no worse off without her They lost in the first round of districts with her for two years and they can do that without her as well.
