Call it what you want. I'm saying if HHS wanted to recruit for Girls bball (like you are insinuating), they would have no problem doing it. They don't do it!

 

Where did I say HHS was so much better. I said they would have better leverage in recruiting...if it was legal! All hypothetical. Let me say this again I never said they were recruiting, just because you have all those awards behind your name and your brother coaches a UofL doesn't mean you can coach. Let me repeat to you again im not saying they aren't good coaches. So are you saying that others schools if opened couldn't do the same, there is a lot that goes into academics and what is turned into the state and what is not, HHS is a very good academic school and so is a lot others in NKY. I wasn't meaning to ruffle your feathers but some of us do know some things maybe you don't know, yes I know its shocking but we do.

Now you're breaking my statement down into pieces. My statement was meant to stay together. The reasons were all those things. Not one thing and then another. All those things added up would make it very attractive for a kid to go to HHS if they were being recruited. I didn't say other schools wouldn't have some of them or all of them. But I don't know of any in NKY that would have all of them. Do you? Let's discuss!

Just because a coach isn't approaching the player doesn't mean that it isn't happening some other way. As for going to watch AAU games because you have players from your team playing that's fine but to go and watch and sit on a bench that doesn't have a single one playing on that particular team until now, seems a little strange don't you think, that's what ACourt&ADream is trying to say and I believe said that. I am not accusing of any wrong doing but you can't deny that is a little weird.

 

HHS is not the only school that tells there coaches what to say or knows the rules.

I wish Jenna that best of luck and personally I would have liked to have seen Jenna finish at ND with the girls she has gone to battle with the past 2 years.

It has been a month-and-a-half now and NDA still hasn't filled their job. Any news on the actual thread topic?

So someone talked to a coach about a player, right? And that someone wasn't the player or the player's parent (or any relationship), right? And that someone wasn't connected to HHS in any way, right? And that's an issue how? Are we going to start policing when a third party person talks to a coach about a player?? Because every school in the state would be on permanent suspension. And even with all that said, I bet that person was told that the coach could not speak to her or her dad until she is enrolled. That's the rule and that's what happened! We can keep "reaching" for reasons to make this something or we can just wait to see what the KHSAA rules. No one has any control over whether she will play this year, except the KHSAA. And believe it or not, I think they do the best they can with the situations they have. Do some of their rules and loopholes back them into a corner, yes. But with how things are written today (and I'm sure there is a reason they are written the way they are), it's tough to not look bad when making these decisions. But at the end of the day, only the KHSAA and the family know all the information that was presented for the ruling.
