No surprise based upon what I am hearing.

Fill me in JOAT. I saw pics of the game on FB and Frosh Grady Cramer was one of the pitchers. Not sure if he came in relief or started.

I believe Cramer started went 3 innings. Colonels scored 5 in the 1st inning. I was not there, so if that information is wrong please don't shoot me. LOL

Ryle loses to Cov Cath 12-1....nicely pitched CG by AJ Mayer. I believe we only had 2 hits.

Where are the games being played tonight? Times?

Beechwood plays Conner at St. Henry, 5PM. Not sure on the other game.

Beechwood and Conner will no longer play at St Henry. Not sure where it will be moved yet.

Boone and Cov Cath will play at Ryle at 5PM.

Alright so fields have been changed.

CovCath/Boone @ Cov Cath - 5 PM

Conner/Beechwood @ Ryle - 5 PM

Championship tomorrow at Dixie at 7 PM.

BW beat Conner 6-5 in 12 innings.

Cov Cath beat Boone County. I believe it was 12 to 4.

Championship Game is Beechwood vs Cov Cath at 7 at Dixie. Game may be moved up depending on the weather.

Pulling of course for Cov Cath in the finals. If they win, I think their final record would be 28-4. Add that to the final record of the freshman of 21-4, with both winning regional championships you have a pretty solid foundation IMO. Congrats to both teams on fine seasons.

Don't have a dog in the fight...kids are grown and in college. Still love watching high school aged kids play baseball! Made the Beechwood/Conner game last night at Ryle...glad I did. The left hander that Beechwood brought in relief was outstanding...last name Wilder. Pitched himself out of trouble on several occasions. Also threw a kid Schlinger in relief very early that did a nice job. Conner threw 2 kids - both were pretty good...I think they were both freshman per some overheard talk from some fans. Great game, fans on both sides were great even with a base umpire that was a little questionable (more against Beechwood).

CovCath...I don't understand the dugout antics. In my opinion, that's not baseball. Hard to watch a talented team act like they do. Was able to watch them dismantle Ryle on Wednesday night at Dixie. The Mayer kid was unreal on the mound...can't remember Ryle hitting a ball hard all night. Have watched CovCath JV play 3 times...you better have your bunt defense ready. If not...you are beat - just ask Ryle.

Would love to see the Beechwood/CovCath final be Mayer versus Wilder. I think that would be an unreal final!

BW was trying to save Wilder for Cov Cath. He pitched a 6-0 shut out against them 3 weeks ago.... but in a game like that, against Conner, you can't leave horses in the stable.
